Your First 5 Minutes
Follow these steps to get up and running with Flow.
Create Your Account
Head to the signup page and create an account with your email. Check your inbox for a verification link.
Tip: Check your spam folder if you don’t see the verification email.
Explore the Dashboard
After logging in, you’ll land on your Dashboard. This is your trading command center showing stats, charts, and recent activity.
It’ll be empty at first - let’s fix that by creating a workflow!
Build Your First Workflow
Navigate to Edge Builder. The fastest way to start is to load a template - click on “Day Trading” or any template that matches your style.
You can customize the workflow by adding or removing presets, then click Save.
Log Your First Trade
Go to Trade Logger. Select your workflow, enter the trade details (symbol, direction, entry price), and complete each phase.
The 3 phases are: Pre-Trade → Execution → Post-Trade
Review Your Stats
Return to your Dashboard to see your trade recorded. As you log more trades, you’ll see win rate, P&L, and other metrics populate.
Core Concepts
Understanding these key concepts will help you get the most out of Flow.
Presets
Presets are the building blocks of your workflows. Each preset is a single step or question that helps you analyze, plan, or reflect on your trades. Flow includes 100+ presets across 5 categories:
| Category | Count | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Emotional/Psychology | 25 | Mental state checks, FOMO detection, confidence levels |
| Technical Analysis | 25 | Chart analysis, trend identification, indicator signals |
| Risk Management | 25 | Position sizing, stop losses, risk/reward ratios |
| Journal/Reflection | 29 | Post-trade reviews, lessons learned, grading |
| Market Context | 20 | Market conditions, news events, sector analysis |
Workflows
Workflows are custom checklists you create by combining presets. Each workflow guides you through the trading process, ensuring you don’t skip important steps. You can have multiple workflows for different trading strategies.
- Build workflows in the Edge Builder
- Drag and drop to reorder steps
- Save multiple workflows for different strategies
- Load pre-built templates as starting points
The 3-Phase System
Every trade in Flow follows a 3-phase structure, ensuring you prepare before, document during, and learn after each trade:
Planning and preparation. Check your mental state, analyze the setup, and define your risk.
During the trade. Document entry details, position size, and execution notes.
Reflection and learning. Review the outcome, grade your execution, and capture lessons.
Templates
Templates are pre-built workflows designed for specific trading strategies. They’re a great starting point - load a template, customize it to your needs, and save it as your own workflow.
| Template | Best For | Steps |
|---|---|---|
| Day Trading | Quick scalps, intraday moves | 12 presets |
| Swing Trading | Multi-day holds | 14 presets |
| Breakout Trading | Momentum plays | 11 presets |
| Reversal Trading | Counter-trend setups | 13 presets |
| Options Trading | Premium strategies | 15 presets |
| News Trading | Event-driven trades | 10 presets |
