Prop Accounts

Track your Breakout evaluation purchases, funded accounts, withdrawals, and breaches — with live limit warnings directly in the Trade Log.

Breakout Only (for now)

Prop account tracking is currently built for Breakout prop firm plans. The 22 supported plan configurations (1-step and 2-step, Classic / Pro / Turbo, $5k–$200k) are hardcoded so fee calculations and limit amounts are always accurate.

What You Can Track

The Prop Accounts section gives you a full business view of your prop trading activity.

Evaluation Pipeline

Log every account purchase with date, plan, add-ons, and cost. See all evaluations in one grid.

Funded Account Health

Live daily-loss and max-drawdown bars in the Trade Log so you never breach by accident.

Business Analytics

Pass rate, breach rate, net ROI, monthly spend chart, and a per-account expense ledger.

Full Cost Accounting

Total fees paid all-time, fees this year, and net P&L (withdrawals minus fees).

Adding an Account

The 3-step wizard keeps setup fast and ensures fee calculations are always correct.

1

Step 1 — Choose Your Plan

Select your eval type (1-Step or 2-Step), then your plan tier and account size.

  • 1-Step: Classic, Pro, or Turbo — $5k to $200k
  • 2-Step: Classic only — $5k to $200k

A live summary card shows your Step 1 goal, daily loss limit, and max drawdown as soon as you make a selection.

2

Step 2 — Purchase Details

Enter the purchase date and optionally enable the 90/10 Profit Split Add-on. The Total Paid updates live.

Add an optional nickname (e.g. "My Main $50k") and notes. These appear throughout the UI wherever the account is referenced.

3

Step 3 — Confirm

Review a read-only summary of everything, then click Create Account. The account is saved and immediately available in the Trade Log.

Account Status Lifecycle

Accounts move through statuses as your evaluation progresses. All transitions are made from the account's detail panel.

Transitioning to Funded

When you mark an account as Funded, you'll be prompted for three required fields: Eval Passed Date, Funded Start Date, and Starting Balance. The starting balance is used to calculate drawdown percentage in the health widget and Trade Log banner.

Trade Log Integration

The active prop account shows at the top of the Trade Log with live progress and safety alerts.

Selecting an Active Account

The banner at the top of the Trade Log has a dropdown to switch between your active accounts. Selecting "Personal (no account)" logs trades without a prop account attached. Your selection is remembered across sessions.

Every trade logged while an account is active has its prop_account_id set automatically — no manual tagging required.

Progress Bar

Account statusWhat the bar shows
EvaluationCurrent P&L vs the Step 1 profit goal
Step 2Current P&L vs the Step 2 profit goal
FundedCurrent cumulative P&L vs the max drawdown limit

Limit Warning Banners

For funded accounts, two automatic warning banners can appear above the trade form:

Amber — you've used 75% or more of a limit. Consider sizing down or stopping for the day.
Red — you've used 90% or more of a limit. One more loss could breach this account.

Warnings check both the daily loss limit (resets each day) and the max drawdown limit (cumulative). Both can appear at once if both are near their thresholds.

Journal Integration

Filter and view trades by prop account directly in the Journal.

The Journal has a built-in account filter (only shown when you have prop accounts). Use it to see only trades from a specific account — or select Personal Only to see trades logged without any account.

An Account column is also available in the trade table. It's hidden by default — enable it via the column visibility toggle (top-right of the Journal).

Clicking an account name in the Trade Detail dialog takes you directly to that account's detail panel at /prop-accounts?account=<id>.

Analytics Tab

Business-level metrics across all your prop accounts — fetched on demand when you first open the tab.

KPI Cards

MetricHow it's calculated
Total Fees PaidSum of total_paid across all accounts
Pass RateAccounts that reached funded ÷ completed evaluations
Breach RateBreached accounts ÷ total accounts that were funded
Net ROITotal withdrawals − total fees paid

Monthly Spend Chart

A bar chart of evaluation fees paid per calendar month over the last 12 months. Useful for spotting patterns (e.g. buying more accounts after a breach streak).

Pass Rate by Plan

A breakdown table showing attempts, passes, and pass rate for each plan type you've tried. Requires at least 2 completed attempts per plan to show a rate (avoids misleading 0% or 100% from a single attempt).

Expense Ledger + CSV Export

A full chronological list of every account with cost, status, withdrawals, and net P&L per account. Click Export CSV to download the full ledger for use in a spreadsheet or tax filing.

Dashboard Widgets

Three optional widgets are available on the Dashboard. They're hidden by default so traders without prop accounts see no change.

How to Enable

On the Dashboard, click Customize (or the grid icon) to open the widget picker. Toggle on any of the three prop widgets — they'll be saved to your layout.
WidgetWhat it shows
Prop OverviewCapital deployed (total fees), pass rate, breach rate, and net ROI
Account HealthPer-account daily-loss and drawdown progress bars for all active accounts
Prop SpendTotal fees all-time, fees this year, account count, and average fee per account

Tips & Best Practices

Set up a dedicated workflow per account size. Associate it in the detail panel — it'll auto-select in the Trade Log whenever that account is active.

Pay attention to the amber warning. Stopping at 75% of your daily limit is far better than pushing to 90% and risking a breach.

Export the expense ledger at year-end. It gives you a clean record of every evaluation fee and withdrawal for tax purposes.

Use the Notes field on funded accounts to record things like your risk-per-trade target and any rule nuances specific to that account.
